Empowering Healthcare Professionals through Education and Training

At CURE, we are dedicated to supporting training and education programs that focus on preventing urethral injury and the development of urethral strictures.

Our top achievement so far has been providing initial funding for a remarkable healthcare training enterprise, the Advanced Urinary Catheterisation Academy (AUCA), which was established in 2021 during the pandemic to address the urgent need for urinary catheterisation skills training among healthcare professionals.

AUCA offers both basic and advanced urinary catheterisation courses for healthcare professionals, accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Online training modules are accessible free of charge, allowing healthcare providers and universities to access best in class post-graduate education at no cost.

Furthermore, AUCA is establishing connections with other Practical Skills Training Centres accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of England. These collaborations aim to spread AUCA’s Practical Skills Training Courses across the UK, improving healthcare professionals‘ skills and enhancing patient safety.
